A: Luv-A-Rug cleans all types and sizes of wool, silk, natural fiber and synthetic area rugs.
Q: Can you remove pet odors?
A: Yes, depending on how your rug is made we can remove up to 99% of the odor
Q: Can you remove yellow pet stains?
A: Pet stains are acidic when wet then turn alkaline as they dry and their chemical reaction on the fibers is permanent in most cases, especially on wool area rugs.
Q: How much do it cost to clean my rug?
A: The cost is based on the fiber type, size and any extra treatments or repairs your rug needs. This is all discussed upon our visual inspection of the rug.
Q: How long does it take to clean my rug?
A: We ask for 5-7days so that we can get your rug as clean as possible. For moth treatments and repairs we need a little longer.
Q: How is my rug cleaned?
A: After we do our visual inspection and explain the cleaning results, your rug gets vibrated by our Rug Badger. This gets out all the dry hidden dirt from your rug. Then your rug is tested for colour bleed and shrinkage. The results of these tests determine the cleaning method. We have every method from complete submersion to completely dry. Your rugs are cleaned one at a time, not in a machine with other rugs. This insures that your rugs do not get contaminated by someone else's dirty rug. You rug is rinsed thoroughly so no soap residue remains. After it is air dried your rug gets dry-cleaned to bring out the sheen. We then apply our protective finish if you have asked for that. Any repairs that are requested are done after cleaning.
Q: Can I have my rug picked up and deliver back to me?
A: Yes. We can pick up or deliver your rug(s) during the week or on Saturday in most areas call us to arrange it.
Q: Is my rug worth cleaning?
A: We tell you up front what you can expect from our cleaning and let you know if it is time to get a new one or if we can improve your current one.
Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit, Cheque (with proper Id) and Cash.
Q: Do I need pad for under my rug?
A: In most cases yes. If your rug slips on your floor we have non-slip pad to make your rug safe. Pad will help keep your floors protected; Rub your knuckles across the back of your rug, if it scratches your knuckles it will scratch your floor. .
