Area rugs are as individual as people and need to be treated with the same care and respect as we would for other prized possessions. To restore your rug to it's best possible condition we have a thorough cleaning process.
With every area rug we first do a visual inspection and let you know what kind of results to expect from the cleaning and recommend any repairs to extend the life of your area rug.
Next your rug gets 40,000 of gentle vibrations a minute by our Rug Badger, this rids your rug of all the ground in/insoluble dirt, dust and allergens it is hiding.
Then it goes onto the washing process where your rug is first tested for colour bleed, shrinkage. The results of those tests determine the method of cleaning. We have every available method from complete submersion to completely dry. Every area rug is cleaned the safest way possible to achieve maximum cleaning results. We use wool safe soaps and your rug is rinsed thoroughly so that no soap residue remains.
Each area rug is cleaned individually by hand not by machines and rinsed with fresh water ensuring that your rug is throughly cleaned.
After a thorough washing it is then off to the fan equipped drying room, once dried your rug is inspected, if any dirt still remains it is back to the washing procedure. Your rug is washed as many times as needed to get all the dirt out.
Your rugs are then spot cleaned, if need be, or treated for odours, if requested, and then we do our dry clean process to bring out the sheen of your rugs. If requested we can also apply our protective dirt repelling finish which we believe in so much that if your rugs gets too dirty or gets a stain we will clean it for free.
